Sprint Mobile Urgent Alerts 2.23.01

Sprint Mobile Urgent Alerts (MUA) is a personal safety service designed to assist field personnel, lone workers, and individuals at risk in immediately notifying appropriate response teams.

• Sprint subscribers can quickly create an assistance request that notifies multiple contacts when help is needed. By pressing the Android device screen for 3 seconds, even in locked mode, users can trigger the urgent alert process.
• Multiple concurrent messages can be sent to various destinations and device types, such as text messages, voice messages, and emails.
• Messages include crucial information like the sender's mobile number, location address, and time.
• SMS text messages may feature a web link to the sender's location; voice messages utilize Text-to-Speech technology; email messages can include a map displaying the sender's location.
• Alerts can be sent directly from the lock screen without unlocking the phone discreetly without any audible indication when an alert is activated (user-selectable option).
• Repeat notifications can be sent for up to 3 hours and alerts can be triggered in case of a fall.
• The service can be activated using the SOS button on Kyocera DuraTR or the Speaker button on Kyocera DuraForce Pro.

Messages are sent periodically until the safety event concludes. The MUA application can put the phone in speaker mode and simultaneously dial a pre-configured phone number alongside distributing alerts.

The Sprint Mobile Urgent Alert service offers assured message delivery through multiple channels: voice calls, SMS, and email. Users also receive real-time delivery status information and confirmation due to its highly reliable telco-grade platform.

The web interface enables users to create contact and distribution lists, define alert templates, manage device authorizations, and track message delivery and replies in real-time.
